Coach Marcello brings a combination of extensive practical experience and vast academic knowledge. The former professional soccer player performed for 15 years at the highest levels in Brazil and USA. As a coach, worked with all levels and age groups during the years, including 4 seasons as an Assistant Coach at the professional level; 2014 & 2015 at Parana Clube (Brazilian League Serie B) and 2016 & 2017 at Atletico (Brazilian League Serie A). Recently worked as a Director of Coaching and College Recruitment Director at Fredericksburg FC in Virginia. In addition, served as Head Coach for the Mens PRO23 and U19 Boys teams. In 2020, won the High School State title as one of the coaches at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami. Coach Marcello also holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Sports Science and is a Coordinator and Professor of a Coaching Education institution in Brazil.
